A healthy lifestyle, with good nutrition, and exercise is your best diet.
Perhaps the biggest factor is your weight. Carrying extra weight, especially
when it is around your neck and throat area can have a major impact on your
snoring. The extra tissue can cause a constriction of the throat while
sleeping or even cause sleep apnea.
Other dietary factors may be consuming foods that produce excess mucous
near or right before bedtime. Dairy products are a prime example of mucous
producing foods. Try not to drink milk or eat ice cream before bed.
Avoid alcohol, drugs and medications whenever possible. Good nutrition,
exercise, and taking care of your body will many times help to alleviate your
snoring problem.
